Shahnameh watch

This watch features a reversible face with an image of Faridun, as a fire-breathing dragon, testing his sons’ true characters.

The image is borrowed from a painting attributed to Aqa Mirak produced for the manuscript of the Shahnameh commissioned by Shah Tahmasp. It is currently held in the Aga Khan Museum. © AKM903.
