Shahnameh patchwork jacket

This patchwork jacket from Be Design, a Canadian clothing brand which creates pieces in the manner of traditional Persian crafts.

The imagery seen on the jacket was borrowed from various miniature paintings from the manuscripts of the Safavid period. The stories they depict can be not only from the Shahnameh but other poems of Persian Classical literature.
